In selecting Passport, the Village will ensure a successful launch of its first village-wide mobile parking application in Fall 2021 and take a long-overdue step towards providing an open parking payment ecosystem. Passport views its business model as Business to Government (B2G) and understands the importance of the Village having a fully integrated and efficient parking management system. Passport maintains existing integrations and relationships with the Village’s meter partners, and remains the current parking ticket vendor that all active parking sessions will be integrated with. By working with Passport the Village will not experience any interruption in its current parking enforcement services and will be able to leverage Passport’s expertise in facilitating payments for parking.Īs a current partner, Passport has a comprehensive understanding of the Village’s parking environment and the importance it places on having a reliable and user-friendly municipal parking application that will foster compliance, reduce operation costs, and encourage the Village’s citizens and visitors to patronize the downtown area while utilizing contactless technology.īy choosing to adopt Passport’s mobile parking application, the Village will reduce integration and transition and add an efficient way for parkers to pay for parking. The Village of Port Chester will benefit from the network effect by offering an application many citizens throughout the region are currently using. Nearby municipalities such as the White Plains, City of Rye, Larchmont, and Hartsdale are currently utilizing Passport for mobile parking payments.

The Village has experienced Passport’s dedication to its clients first-hand through its current relationship and will now improve its parking payment options by adding Passport’s mobile parking application. This acquisition provided Passport with the unique opportunity to improve its solution set by leveraging client feedback from clients like Port Chester and further demonstrated its commitment to helping municipalities foster compliance. In June of 2019 Passport acquired Complus Data Innovations (“CDI”), the long-time parking ticket, and collection vendor for the Village of Port Chester.
